Summary

Dsmart Result System is an education platform. The Android app loads our secure web portal — it does not operate as a separate social network or advertising product. Data is collected to provide school result management, online payments, and student result checking.

No data is sold. We do not use your information for third-party advertising. Optional device permissions are only used when you interact with features that need them (e.g. uploading a photo).

Security practices

  • Payment security — card details processed by Paystack; not stored on our servers
  • Session management — authenticated sessions with secure cookies
  • Audit trail — sensitive admin actions logged where enabled

Android app permissions

The Dsmart Result app may request the following permissions. All except Internet are optional.

Does your app collect or share user data?

Yes — the app connects to our web platform which processes account, school, and student data as described above.

Is all of the user data collected by your app encrypted in transit?

Yes — production traffic uses HTTPS.

Do you provide a way for users to request that their data is deleted?

Yes — email support@dsmartresult.com (see Deletion requests below).

Data types to declare (typical selections)

  • Personal info: Name, Email address, User IDs, Phone number (optional)
  • Photos: Optional — student passport uploads
  • Financial info: Purchase history (payment references via Paystack — not full card numbers)
  • App activity: Limited to authentication sessions on our servers
  • Device or other IDs: Not collected for advertising; standard server logs only

Deletion requests

To request deletion of your personal account or to ask a school to remove student data:

  • School staff / users: Contact your school administrator or email us at support@dsmartresult.com
  • Schools: Platform administrators can deactivate or delete school accounts from the admin panel
  • Students: Contact your school — student records are managed by the school

We will verify your identity before processing deletion requests. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate audit purposes (e.g. payment history).
